How 9ty started

Built from the pitch, not from an office

9ty™ was built out of five years of organising several hobby football groups, and of playing in them every week. The idea was simple: our game deserves the same buzz as the pros get. Lineups, ratings, stats, a man of the match, bragging rights that last until next week.

And the organising (lists, teams, who paid) should just run by itself. It's made for hobby players, by a hobby player, and tested on my own team, every single week.

FAQ

Does every player need the app?

Yes, to sign up, see the teams and vote. It's free on iPhone and Android, and joining a squad takes one link.

Does 9ty take a cut of the payments?

No. Players pay the organiser outside the app, however your squad prefers (cash, bank transfer, PayPal), so there are no commission fees. In the app the organiser marks who has paid, 9ty reminds the rest, and unpaid players can't sign up for the next game until they've settled.

What game sizes does it support?

5-a-side up to 11-a-side, two or more teams, with guests and keepers.

Is my data safe?

Stored in the EU, never sold, no ads. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

Can I try Pro first?

Every Pro plan starts with a 30-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
